It's been a loooong time, huh?

Hi all.

I have not been making polish for a while now. Instead, I've been concentrating on other areas in life like making jewelry and getting my home ready to leave it behind.

Yep, I'm moving.
YAY! No more frigid Minnesota winters. This last one was a doooozy and I'm over it.

There is a chance that I may start making polish again once we move and get settled. And if that happens, you won't know it by following this blog. I don't really use it anymore.

If I start to make polish again, the info will be announced on this blog.
I haven't lately, but I will use it to post manicures that I do on myself and my nieces.

You can follow that blog on bloglovin or stick with Google Friend Connect.

Come on over and cross your fingers that in a few months, the newer blog will have polish for sale.

Two Manicures and Possibly a New Polish

Hey all,

I haven't been doing a lot with polish lately. I apologize for that.
I've had a lot going on here.
I mentioned months ago that there was something going on here at home and it was taking a lot of my focus. And it was causing a little bit of nerves and stress because I'm impatient.

Well, it's over.
And I have been meaning to make an announcement here...

I adopted my stepdaughters! I'm a momma, officially!
Our "Family Birthday" is May 23.

From the time we started filing all of the papers (lots of papers), it was almost 6 months.
And I had a knot in my left shoulder that just got worse as the months went on.
We are sooo excited and we've all been walking on cloud 9 for the last week.

For court, I went with nails that matched my dress. LOL. I didn't get around to posting this yet on the blog because I was preoccupied.

Colors used:
OPI Ogre the Top Blue (pointer)
China Glaze Aquadelic (middle)
Elevation Polish Pic de Sotllo (pinky)
China Glaze White on White (marble)
China Glaze Liquid Leather (marble)

Left hand!!

And since the weather in MN is starting to trudge towards summer, I wanted to do something fun and happy. Something bright. So I sponged some China Glaze neons and then stamped some fun swirls on top.

Colors used:
OPI Alpine Snow for the base (neons POP on white)
China Glaze Pool Party (pink)
China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard (green)
China Glaze Splish Splash (blue)

I used Konad Black for the stmaping.
Plate: LeaLaC XL Plate B

Also, I'm thinking of making a limited time only polish to commemorate the adoption.
If I do this, it will be limited quantities and it's going to be free form... not based on any show or movie. I have an idea in mind, something that encompasses my family and it should be pretty.

Stay tuned for news on that.

Until then, the store is stocked and open.
Stop by and grab up a polish or two!

Mother's Day Mani

Hey all!

I am still working on new polishes. In the meantime, the store is open.
And there is a 10% discount offer.

This was the mani that I did for Mother's Day this year:

The water marble on my ring finger was created with-
China Glaze White on White
China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard
Elevation Polish Pic de Sotllo

And of course, the green on my thumb, middle, and pinky is Lifeguard
while my pointer finger is Pic de Sotllo

What do you think?
I love this one. It's SO bright outside.

Question for Polish People

Hey all.

I posted a question on the FB page and I thought I would post it here, as well.

Would anyone be interested in the shop carrying mini bottles?
I was thinking mini duo sets, you pick the polishes out of the ones available.

What do you think?
Anyone down with this?

Let me know in the comments, or on FB.
