Mother's Day Mani

I am still working on new polishes. In the meantime, the store is open.

This was the mani that I did for Mother's Day this year:

The water marble on my ring finger was created with-

China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard

Elevation Polish Pic de Sotllo

And of course, the green on my thumb, middle, and pinky is Lifeguard

while my pointer finger is Pic de Sotllo

Hey all.

Shop Update 4/15

For those of you that have read the blog lately, you know that I have been super excited about the fact that there is going to be a Veronica Mars movie. And I was more than happy to become a backer for the project. (I was hoping some polish peeps would donate. No one emailed me, though.)

What I haven't posted about is how irritated and depressed I am that Spring seems to have forgotten about us and we are still getting snow. In mid April. *insert massive amounts of swearing here*

The excitement from the Veronica Mars campaign is about the only thing lifting my spirits right now. My mood tends to shift when the weather is bad Mother Nature is drunk.

So, in honor of the movie getting the green light from Warner Bros. and due to begin filming this summer, I have made a new discount code for the shop.

At checkout, enter code NEPTUNE14 for 10% off of your entire order.

Also, I am working on some new stuff. (Think jelly.) I will update the blog and FB when I have swatches for you all. But since it's still in the testing phase, it could be a few weeks.

Oh. I am toying around with new labels for the polishes. I am hoping to get some clear labels made because I am just not excited about the white ones anymore. Look for a logo change when this happens.

The Final Countdown

Hey there, nail polish lovers. This post is not polish related.
BUT it's still important, at least to me.

I blogged last month about donating money to the Veronica Mars Kickstarter campaign. And some of you may have seen my FB post that the movie IS BEING MADE! Happy, happy, happy.

But I wanted to post again since as of right now, there are 65 hours left until the campaign is over. And it's not too late to donate.

Yes, they reached the goal. But here's the thing:
A lot of the money donated will have to go towards the rewards that are offered (printing and shipping limited edition T-shirts, shipping signed movie posters, printing and shipping digital copies of the movie, etc).

So the more money earned by Friday, the bigger the actual budget for the movie will be once the rewards are taken care of and distributed.

Any amount helps.

The campaign has already broken every Kickstarter project except one... Total Backers.
This is where YOU can help.

Pledge a dollar and then post on your Twitter or FB for your friends to do the same. Surely you have at least one person on your friend list or one follower that may be a Marshmallow and doesn't know about the Kickstarter campaign.

The countdown ends Friday night at 11 pm, EST.

I am beyond happy about this movie FINALLY being made and love that I was a part in helping it be created and produced. It would make me even happier if my polish fans would help out.

That's right, polish and Empire Records fans.

In honor of Rex Manning Day, the store is going to OPEN AGAIN! Look for the store to be open sometime in the late afternoon or early evening.

I spent the better part of my weekend editing listings in Etsy and figuring out which polishes will be restocked for the reopening. And I even came up with a discount code.
